MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday led the inauguration of a one-stop shop for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Makati City, providing essential services for OFWs.

“Layunin nitong gawing mas madali ang kanilang proseso — mula sa reintegrasyon, legal na tulong, hanggang sa pagsasanay at iba pang serbisyong kailangan nila,” he added.

Article continues after this advertisementMarcos then tagged the new DMW office in Makati as “special,” as it is linked to the agency’s central office to quickly meet the OFWs’ needs.
The Aksyon Center building will also serve as an annex of the DMW, where some of its offices will be relocated from its current headquarters at the Blas F. Ople Building in Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City.

(This isn’t just an office; it’s a one-stop shop that houses essential services for our OFWs. The building will offer frontline services such as processing documents for returning Filipinos, OWWA membership, renewals, and other services provided by DMW.)
Marcos also noted that the facility complements the government’s eGov PH App, launched in June 2023.
He then assured OFWs that the government would continue advocating for their welfare.
